Tia Russell

founder

Woman of God, Entrepreneur, Mother, Certified Peer Support Specialist, Community Health Worker, Wellness Coach.

Tia Russell initiated her philanthropic journey as a teenager, volunteering at summer camps, and it has since evolved into a widespread community endeavor. In 2012, she achieved certification as a Peer Support Specialist, assisting individuals dealing with challenges related to mental health, psychological trauma, economic crises, and substance use. Embracing the belief in individuals as the catalysts for positive change, Tia has dedicated over seven years to serving communities and making a meaningful impact.

Recognizing that valuable resources often reside within the community itself, Tia is a staunch advocate for speaking up on behalf of those who cannot voice their needs. Her commitment extends to championing the rights of all individuals deprived of life’s basic necessities. At the core of Take My Hand is the fundamental principle of defending the rights of the poor and needy. Tia asserts that leadership through kindness is a more potent force for positive transformation. She persists in refining her skills, gaining a deeper understanding of her community and honing her ability to assist others.
